PMVC is a secure, Ontario-based service that brings you, me (your therapist), and a consulting psychiatrist together by video. You get diagnostic clarity, medication reviews, and treatment recommendations—without long, separate waitlists—while keeping psychotherapy central. Why it helps: I attend the consult with you, so context isn’t lost and the plan fits your goals. Recommendations flow to your family physician (with consent) for smooth follow-through. Psychiatrist services are OHIP-covered; you pay only my regular therapy fees for my time. Who it’s for: Anyone seeking a diagnostic assessment or second opinion, considering starting/adjusting medication, or managing complex symptoms that would benefit from psychiatric input—while maintaining a trusted therapy relationship. Anyone seeking an ADHD and/or ASD diagnostic assessment or second opinion or is considering starting/adjusting medication. How it works 1. Therapy first: We confirm whether a psychiatric consult will add value. 2. Referral: With consent, we coordinate the appointment (often via your family doctor or NP). 3. Joint video consult: You and I meet with the psychiatrist on PMVC’s secure platform. 4. Plan & follow-up: We integrate recommendations into therapy and schedule follow-ups if needed. Fees & coverage Psychiatry: Covered by OHIP for eligible Ontario residents. ADHD and/or ASD assessments: Additional administrative fee of $350-450*, which is not typically covered in benefit plans. *Individual assessments costs $350, the combined assessment costs $450. Therapy: My standard rates apply for joint sessions and subsequent care. Many benefits plans reimburse psychotherapy. Privacy & security Medical-grade telehealth.
